Kendall

Slightly south of downtown Miami sits a popular suburb called Kendall. At first glance, one might think that it is much like Florida’s other small cities that surround Miami. However, as the residence will tell you, life in the city of Kendall is anything but routine. The bustling area has an array of things to do, places to work and fun ways to spend your spare time.

The population in the city is proud of their lovely homes and their thriving community. The area is a middle-class suburb complete with pretty tree lined streets and attractive homes and apartment home communities. Families, empty-nesters, students, and professionals mostly make up the tenant population.

The city of Kendall has two major shopping malls, the Dadeland Mall and The Falls, in addition to an impressive lineup of stores and cozy boutiques owned by local entrepreneurial proprietors. The city has a great selection of restaurants whether you are in the mood for a casual night out or a lavish dinner. The community has lively sports bars, taverns and a large multiplex cinema.

There are many venues for year-round outdoor recreation in Kendall. There is a golf course in the city. The local beaches are pristine, there are no overwhelming crowds and parking for beachgoers is ample. The city of Kendall has a well-run transportation system that allows for easy and convenient travel across the region or across town.
